(WNY News Now) – PORTVILLE, NY — The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Little Genesee man on an active arrest warrant Tuesday morning after responding to an unrelated incident in the Town of Portville.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies took Michael P. Scholl, 47, of Little Genesee, into custody on September 23, 2025, at approximately 7:04 a.m. at 332 Portville Ceres Road. Deputies discovered that Scholl had an active arrest warrant issued by the New York State Police in Olean.
Scholl was transported and turned over to the New York State Police Olean Barracks for further processing. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
