Deputies say a Napoli man damaged a vehicle and struck another individual during a fight in Little Valley.
(WNY News Now) – LITTLE VALLEY, NY – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports that Richard W. Case, 54, of Napoli, was arrested on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in connection with an altercation outside Crosby’s in Little Valley.
Deputies responded to the location around 4:00 p.m. after receiving a report of a fight in progress. According to investigators, Case allegedly damaged the victim’s vehicle before striking the victim in the head in an attempt to cause physical injury.
Following the incident, Case was charged with Assault in the Third Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree. He was taken into custody without further incident.
Authorities confirmed that Case has been released and is scheduled to appear in court in October to answer the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
