(WNY News Now) – SYRACUSE, N.Y. – A 32-year-old woman was hospitalized Thursday night after sustaining multiple stab wounds in an incident currently under investigation by Syracuse Police.

According to authorities, officers were called to St. Joseph’s Hospital at approximately 9:16 p.m. on September 25, 2025, after the woman arrived with several stab wounds to her upper body. Police said her injuries are considered non-life-threatening, and she is expected to recover.

Investigators believe the stabbing took place in the 2000 block of East Fayette Street. At this time, no further details about the circumstances of the incident or possible suspects have been released.

The Syracuse Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is actively investigating the case. Officials are urging anyone with information to contact detectives at (315) 442-5222.
