(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – A Jamestown woman is facing multiple charges after a traffic stop in the early hours of Saturday, September 27, 2025, led to her arrest for alleged drunk driving.
According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers on routine patrol observed a vehicle commit several traffic violations near the intersection of North Main Street and East 8th Street at approximately 12:16 a.m. The driver, identified as 44-year-old Jamestown resident Kerri J. Latona, was pulled over after allegedly making an improper right turn and operating the vehicle without headlights.
Police said further investigation determined Latona was driving under the influence. She was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where testing reportedly showed a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher, resulting in an aggravated DWI charge.
Latona is facing charges of improper right turn, operating with no lights, driving while intoxicated per se, and aggravated DWI. She was released on traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
