(WNY News Now) – LITTLE VALLEY, N.Y. – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports that a Little Valley man turned himself in on an active arrest warrant Tuesday morning.

According to deputies, Michael N. Nichol, 26, of Little Valley, surrendered to the Sheriff’s Office on September 30, 2025, at approximately 7:00 a.m. Nichol was arrested on a charge of obstruction of governmental administration.

He was processed and arraigned in the Town of Little Valley Court, where he was released on his own recognizance. Nichol is scheduled to return to court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
