(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown woman was taken into custody early Wednesday morning after police responded to a domestic dispute on the city’s west side.

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — On October 8, 2025, at approximately 2:12 a.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s third platoon responded to a west side address for a reported domestic dispute.

According to investigators, 21-year-old Elizabeth T. Abram allegedly physically attacked the victim and caused damage to the victim’s property during the incident. Officers determined that Abram was also in violation of a valid Refrain from Order of Protection.

Abram was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where she is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

She faces multiple charges, including two counts of Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment in the Second Degree, and Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
