(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — A Jamestown man was arrested early Thursday morning following a report of a person with a weapon in the area of Lakeview Avenue and Van Buren Street.
According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers from the third platoon responded to the scene around 4:12 a.m. on October 9, 2025, after receiving a call about an individual allegedly threatening others.
Following an investigation, police determined that 33-year-old Tyler J. Langworthy had menaced two victims, causing them to fear for their safety. Langworthy was taken into custody without incident and charged with two counts of Menacing in the Second Degree.
He was later released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
