(WNY News Now) – A Frewsburg man was arrested early Saturday morning following an investigation into an altercation that occurred in the Town of Poland, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
FREWSBURG, N.Y. — The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies responded to a residence in the Town of Poland shortly after 1:30 a.m. on October 18, 2025, for a report of an altercation.
Following an investigation, deputies identified 45-year-old Kweilen D. Bell of Frewsburg as one of the individuals involved. Authorities determined that Bell had obstructed the breathing of another person during the incident.
Bell was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation and Harassment in the Second Degree. He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for Centralized Arraignment Processing (CAP).
The Sheriff’s Office stated that Bell is scheduled to appear in the Town of Poland Court at a later date to answer the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
