(WNY News Now) – A 66-year-old Westfield man was charged with trespass after being found in a restricted area on Hawley Street Friday afternoon.
WESTFIELD, N.Y. — The Westfield Police Department charged Donald Baker, 66, of Westfield, with trespass following an incident that occurred on Hawley Street around 1:45 p.m. on October 17, 2025.
According to police, Baker was seen in an area where he is not permitted to be. Witnesses reported that it appeared as though Baker might have been attempting to steal metal from a nearby business. However, the investigation determined that no metal had been stolen.
Despite the lack of stolen property, Baker was charged with trespass for being in a location from which he was previously prohibited. He was issued an appearance ticket and released, pending his court date in the Town of Westfield Court.
