(WNY News Now) – Deputies responded to a late-night disturbance in the Town of Westfield that led to the arrest of a 37-year-old man on harassment and resisting arrest charges.
WESTFIELD, N.Y. — On November 10, 2025, at approximately 1:15 a.m., deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a reported altercation in the Town of Westfield.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, an investigation determined that 37-year-old Timothy Blakeslee, a Westfield resident, allegedly subjected another individual to unwanted physical contact during the incident.
When deputies informed Blakeslee that he was being placed under arrest, he reportedly resisted efforts to take him into custody. Deputies were ultimately able to detain him without further incident.
Blakeslee was charged with Harassment in the Second Degree and Resisting Arrest. He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment in the Town of Westfield Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
