(WNY News Now) – LITTLE VALLEY, N.Y. — A 51-year-old Little Valley woman was arrested Thursday afternoon following an investigation into reported property damage earlier this month, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies report that Angela M. Seward, 51, of Little Valley, was taken into custody at approximately 2:28 p.m. on Feb. 19, 2026.

The arrest stems from an investigation into an incident that occurred on Feb. 9, 2026, at an Erie Street address in Little Valley. Authorities allege that Seward damaged a front door at the residence during the incident.

Seward has been charged with:

  • Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree
  • Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree

Following her arrest, Seward was processed without incident. She was arraigned in the Town of Ellicottville and is scheduled to appear in Town of New Albion Court at a later date.

As with all criminal charges, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
