(WNY News Now) – HANOVER, N.Y. — A 27-year-old woman was taken into custody Saturday morning following a reported domestic dispute in the Town of Hanover, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a residence on King Road at approximately 7:53 a.m. on March 28, 2026, for a report of a domestic incident. Following an investigation, authorities allege that Taylor A. Rose-Newman used physical force to remove a resident from in front of a doorway before entering the home after being told not to do so.
Officials said the incident occurred in the presence of three juveniles, all under the age of 17.
Rose-Newman was later located in the City of Dunkirk with assistance from the New York State Police and Dunkirk Police Department. She was taken into custody without further incident.
She has been charged with Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Harassment in the Second Degree.
Rose-Newman was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
