(WNY News Now) – A Pennsylvania woman faces multiple charges following a traffic stop in Lakewood after police identified the vehicle as reported stolen from Jamestown.
LAKEWOOD, NY — A routine traffic stop on Fairmount Avenue led to the arrest of a Warren, Pennsylvania woman on Monday afternoon, April 6, 2026.
According to authorities, the stop occurred at approximately 1:57 p.m. when officers pulled over a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Jamestown. The operator of the vehicle was identified as 45-year-old Jessica M. Wolfgang of Warren, PA.
Following an investigation at the scene, Wolfgang was charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Third Degree.
Police allege that Wolfgang was knowingly in possession of a stolen vehicle at the time of the stop. Additionally, it was determined that her driving privileges were suspended, leading to the unlicensed operation charge.
Wolfgang was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Busti Court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
