(WNY News Now) – A juvenile was flown to Oishei Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being struck in a motor vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in the Town of Portland, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian on Route 20 in the Town of Portland at approximately 5:23 p.m. on July 12, 2026.

Authorities said the incident involved a 65-year-old woman from Fredonia and a juvenile from Portland. Following the crash, the juvenile was transported from the scene by STAT Medivac to Oishei Children’s Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

No charges have been filed, and the Sheriff’s Office did not release additional details about the circumstances surrounding the accident.
