(WNY News Now) – A Great Valley woman was arrested following a traffic stop and subsequent narcotics investigation in Olean, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Patricia A. Crowe, 50, of Great Valley following a narcotics investigation on September 10, 2026.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Crowe was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped in the area of 400 North Union Street in Olean. A subsequent investigation led deputies to discover a quantity of narcotic drugs.

Crowe was taken into custody and processed without incident, the Sheriff’s Office said.

She was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and driving while ability impaired by drugs.

Crowe was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to Olean City Court at a later date for arraignment.

An arrest is an allegation, and defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
