(WNY News Now) – A 24-year-old Olean man was taken into custody Sunday after Olean police discovered he was wanted on a felony arrest warrant issued in connection with a Cattaraugus County Court indictment.
According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, Kameron M. Ertell, 24, of Olean, was taken into custody at about 3:15 a.m. Sept. 13 after coming into contact with the Olean Police Department.
Police determined Ertell was the subject of a felony arrest warrant stemming from an indictment in Cattaraugus County Court.
Olean police turned Ertell over to Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s deputies, who transported him to the Cattaraugus County Jail.
The Sheriff’s Office reported that Ertell was being held at the jail while awaiting further court proceedings.
As with all criminal charges, the allegations are matters for the court to determine.
