(WNY News Now) – DELEVAN, N.Y. — A 21-year-old man was arrested on a bench warrant in Delevan on Friday evening, Oct. 16, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Eric A. Butler reported that deputies arrested Johnathon D. Westfall, who is listed as homeless, at approximately 6:57 p.m. on Mill Street in Delevan.

Authorities said the warrant was issued through Cattaraugus County Court.

Following his arrest, Westfall was transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail, where he remained in custody pending further court proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
