Wanted Man Allegedly Leads JPD On Foot Pursuit

JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown man who had active warrants from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office allegedly lead officers on a foot pursuit on Benedict Avenue Wednesday afternoon, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Officers originally responded to 111 Benedict Ave. for an unwanted male.

Brandon K. Sorenson, 25, was identified, and he allegedly fled when informed he was under arrest for the warrants.











Sorenson was arrested after a brief pursuit and charged with resisting arrest and second-degree obstructing governmental administration, in addition to the warrants.

He was taken to City Jail without further incident.
