Attempted Criminal Homicide Case Advances To Higher Court

UPDATE: Court documents obtained by WNYNewsNow state that Shreve is scheduled to have a formal arraignment on Jan. 31 at 9:30 a.m. in Warren County Court.

WARREN – The attempted criminal homicide case against Ashville man Michael C. Shreve, 22, is advancing from Magisterial Court to the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas.

Shreve is charged in connection with a stabbing that occurred in Sugar Grove last month. In addition to attempted criminal homicide, Shreve was originally charged with two counts of aggravated assault, flight to avoid apprehension, three counts of simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, tampering/fabricating physical evidence and two counts of harassment.


All charges were held for court. A next court date will be scheduled once the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas receives the paperwork.
