PANAMA – A Panama man allegedly assaulted a victim in front of three children during a domestic incident at a Panama residence on Monday, according to New York State Police.

Justin Earle, 25, reportedly became enraged over an ongoing issue regarding the use of the communal wood burning stove before allegedly breaking into the victim’s apartment and assaulting the victim.

Earle is charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree harassment and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Earle was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

The victim was evaluated on scene by Clymer EMS but declined additional medical treatment.
