JAMESTOWN – A 42-year-old man faces several charges stemming from an alleged domestic incident as he returned to the scene while Jamestown Police were investigating.

City police said Grant H. Monroe Jr., no address listed, returned to a residence on Sampson Street near McKinley Avenue Wednesday afternoon while they were investigating a reported domestic incident.

Grant was charged with felony driving while intoxicated,aggravated DWI, fourth-degree criminal mischief, an aggravated family offense, unlawful imprisonment and criminal obstruction of breathing.


Monroe was remanded to the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
