Hail Hits Lake Erie Shoreline, High Winds, Hard Rain Continue

The severe storms tracking through Chautauqua County brought, as of 8:35 p.m., large hail in Westfield, Ripley, Portland and Erie County, Pa.

A Tornado Warning was issued for Warren County, Pa. and Erie County, Pa.

Lightning, heavy rains, strong winds and thunder were reported across the region. As of 8:45 there were no reports of damage noted.


The National Weather Service also issued a flood warning for Warren County.

According to the NWS, rain is expected to continue overnight,with Monday bringing a high of 39 degrees and snow showers, turning to rain as the Tuesday expected temperature climbs to 51 degrees.
