Woman Charged With DWI After Police Find Her Sleeping Inside Of Running Car

JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown woman is charged with DWI after Jamestown Police said they found her sleeping in a running vehicle at the Third Street Kwik Fill early Tuesday morning.

Aislyn G. Carlson, 32, is charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated and unlicensed operator.

Police said when they arrived, officers observed Carlson sleeping inside the vehicle with the engine running.


After waking her up and speaking with her, police determined Carlson was intoxicated.

Carlson was taken to city jail for a chemical breath test. Police said her blood alcohol content was found to be just over four times the legal limit.

Carlson was issued an appearance ticket and will be arraigned in court at a later date.
