Clymer Man Taken To Hospital After Vehicle Strikes Utility Pole Head-On

FRENCH CREEK – A Clymer man was taken to an Erie hospital Thursday morning after New York State Police said he went off the roadway, striking a utility pole head-on and snapping it in half.

Police said Jordan Wade, 18, was traveling southbound on Route 426 near Harrington Hill Road at the time of the accident. Wade is charged with failure to designated lane and moving from lane unsafely.

Wade was reportedly taken to the hospital for head and neck pain.
