WESTFIELD – A Jamestown man wanted by the New York State Parole was arrested during a traffic stop on Route 5 at North Portage Street Tuesday morning, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.

Rocco Beardsley, 34, was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail on his parole violation.

A 17-year-old female passenger from Jamestown was arrested after she was allegedly in possession of a controlled substance.

The teen was taken to Chautauqua County Jail for pre-arraignment bail on a charge of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
