JAMESTOWN – A candidate for Jamestown City Council’s Second Ward seat will be holding a meet and greet at her home next week to discuss issues that face the city.

Raven Mason-Thompson’s meet and greet is scheduled for Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 111 Newton Ave.

Mason-Thompson said she is inviting all residents of the city, not just Ward II voters, to informally meet her and talk about issues the city faces.

“A few members of Ward II will be there to give their reasons for supporting me in the upcoming primary and to share their vision for what they would like to change in our community,” said Mason-Thompson. “I am inviting all City Council members and the Mayor, to come visit with me at my home, and to hear the voice of community members from Ward II.”
