Identity Of Suspect In Carroll Hit-And-Run Revealed In FOIL Request

CARROLL – A Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) request by WNYNewsNow to the Town of Carroll revealed the identity of the driver in the hit-and-run that occurred June 25 on Route 62 at Ivory Road. 

Police said the driver, revealed to be Clarissa A. Anderson, no age or address given, came to the Town of Carroll Police Department Tuesday to report the accident.

Police said Anderson indicated she was unaware that she struck the motorcycle, operated by Paul M. Fardink, no age provided, and her GMC Yukon appeared to be undamaged.


Anderson was charged with improper left turn and leaving the scene of an accident. She’ll appear in Town of Carroll Court at a later date.
