Spry Continues Push For Ward Four Seat

JAMESTOWN – City of Jamestown Ward 4 City Council candidate Brittnay Spry (R) says if elected she plans to make government accessible to residents.

Spry, the current Secretary to the Superintendent and Clerk to the Board of Education at Cassadaga Valley School District, says her primary objective is to be accessible and available for city residents, and to generate conversation about what the vision is for the future of the City of Jamestown.

“This is our city, but it isn’t our city, unless we are all involved,” said Spry. “I want to invite people to the table. I want to know what their vision is, what they want to see the city do, what changes they want to see made. I want to bring those voices and concerns back to city hall and make change that is meaningful and impacts the future of our city in a better way.”

New to politics, Spry has accepted the Republican, Conservative and Libertarian endorsement.

Although Spry is not a lifelong resident, Jamestown is where her family has planted her roots.

Spry currently lives in the 4th Ward with her husband, Nick, and young daughter Emily.
