Bills Topple Dolphins 37-20 For Seventh Win Of The Season

MIAMI – With the aiding of a strong first-half performance, the Buffalo Bills improved to 7-3 this season after overwhelming the Miami Dolphins with a 37-20 victory, with the 37 points being the most Buffalo has scored in a game this season, on Sunday.

Josh Allen finished the game with four total touchdowns, throwing a career-high matching three and running for one.

Allen threw for 256 yards and rushed for another 56.



Devin Singletary ran for a game-high 75 yards, part of Buffalo’s 168 rush yards.

John Brown posted his second 100-yard receiving game of the season with a game-high 137 yards on nine receptions, hauling in a pair of touchdowns.

With the strong offensive showing, Buffalo built a 23-14 halftime lead in which they would not look back.



Buffalo also never fell behind to Miami at any point during the game.

Tremaine Edmunds led the way for the Bills defense with a game-high 12 total tackles.

Buffalo finished with a season-high seven sacks on current Dolphins and former Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick.

The Bills also held Miami to a total of 23 yards rushing.

Fitzpatrick threw for 323 yards, without a touchdown or an interception.

Kalen Ballage averaged exactly one yard a carry vs. Buffalo, rushing for nine yards on nine carries and a touchdown.

Ballage came into the game with the worst yards per carry average for running backs with a minimum of 10 carries, averaging 2.1 on 55 rushing attempts.

DeVante Parker led the Dolphins receiving corps with 135 yards on seven catches.

Responsible for Miami’s other two touchdowns, Jakeem Grant returned a kickoff 101 yards for a touchdown and rushed for a seven yard touchdown.

Grant ran back five kickoffs for 198 yards, and finished with 205 total yards from scrimmage.

Like Edmunds, Jerome Baker also had 12 total tackles for the Dolphins defense.

Jomal Wiltz also hit double digits on tackles for Miami, finishing with 10.

The Dolphins failed to register a sack on Allen.

At 2-8 now with the loss, Miami will hit the road for their next game on Nov. 24 as they will take on the 4-6 Cleveland Browns at 1:00 on FOX.

Meanwhile, Buffalo will return home for their next game, as they will host the 3-7 Denver Broncos on Nov. 24 at 1:00.

The Bills/Broncos game will be televised on CBS.
