JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Mayor-elect Eddie Sundquist is holding the first of what will be many community conversations aimed at hearing directly from residents.

Sundquist, in an interview with WNYNewsNow Thursday morning, says tonight’s meeting will focus on business development.

“We want to better understand what are some of the barriers to economic and business development here in the city, and, what are some potential solutions that the City of Jamestown can start to take in order to move the city forward,” said Sundquist.

The mayor-elect recently announced his transition team, which is made up of many community members.

The conversation is slated to take place at Jefferson Middle School from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
