Man Arrested After Police Allegedly Find Cocaine, Other Drugs During Stop

BUSTI – A City of Dunkirk man was arrested Saturday after New York State Police allege they found cocaine and other drugs during a traffic stop on West Lake Road in Busti.

Troopers say the vehicle Brandon Tate, 22, was traveling in was pulled over for a traffic violation.

During the stop, police allegedly found 7.5 grams of cocaine, an MDMA tablet, four vape cartridges containing THC, 5.1 grams of concentrated cannabis, 6.9 grams of MDA, 4.5 grams of MDMA, a digital scale containing drug residue and several glassine baggies.











Tate was placed under arrest, processed at the State Police Barracks in Jamestown, and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail, pending arraignment.

Tate is charged with three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.
