JAMESTOWN – A new fine dining restaurant in Downtown Jamestown is now officially open for business.

The Chop House on Main, at 2-6 E. 2nd St., held a grand opening ribbon cutting on Monday afternoon.

Owned by husband and wife duo Amber and Andrew Carlson, with the kitchen run by Head Chef Burke Lindquist, the restaurant aims to offer a modern take on a traditional steakhouse.

“We are excited to bring that experience and team in,” said co-owner Andrew Carlson. “Between the three of us we have over 50 years of restaurant experience.”

“Our menu prices are comparable to the market here,” explained Carlson. “As far as steaks, our steaks go anywhere from $20 to $50.”

Carlson also says the venue offers an extensive wine list and well curated craft cocktail menu.

Previously, Fresco Pizza and Wings occupied the first floor of the Fenton building before it closed in July, 2019.
