GREAT VALLEY – A 15-year-old is facing charges following a crash in Cattaraugus County over the weekend.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office says the Saturday crash was caused by slippery roads and the teen driver’s inexperience.

Additionally, deputies say the teenager did not have permission to drive the vehicle.

Investigators charged the youth with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle on Sunday evening.

He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Cattaraugus County Family Court at a later date.
