LAKEWOOD – A special National Day of Prayer ceremony is scheduled to take place in Lakewood next week.

Pastor Ron Lemon says the drive-in prayer service will take place Thursday, May 7 from noon until 1 p.m. at the former Sears Auto Center near the Chautauqua Mall on Fairmount Avenue.

The group will be practicing social distancing by having cars park with one open spot between.

In addition to the religious speakers taking part, State Senator George Borrello, Chautauqua County Executive PJ Wendel and Chautauqua County Sheriff Jim Quattrone plan to be in attendance.
