JAMESTOWN – After a nice taste of fall over the weekend, some more summer warmth and humidity will be making a return throughout the week before we cool it back down again heading into next week.

Dry weather will be coming to an end throughout the week as we reintroduce the chance for a few showers and storms from time to time with some humidity making a return. More fall-like air will be coming in over the weekend and likely staying with us throughout much of next week.

After an early shower, the reminder of the night will be partly to mostly cloudy with a nice breeze. Lows 60 in the valleys, 67 at the Lake Erie shoreline.

After a mainly dry start to the day, a couple isolated showers will be possible in the afternoon hours on Tuesday with some areas of partial sunshine in between. Highs 73 to 79.

Showers and thunderstorms will be likely on Wednesday with an advancing warm front. That front will surge milder and more humid air into the region once again. Highs near 80.

We’ll maintain the chance for a few showers on Thursday while still remaining muggy. Highs in the lower 80’s.

As we head into Friday into the weekend, a deep upper trough will dig into the continental US bringing much cooler and less humid air into the area. Highs will drop into the lower to mid 70’s with each weekend day featuring a good amount of sunshine.
