CLEVELAND – For the first time President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden will go face-to-face in a presidential debate on Tuesday night.

The debate will be split into six, 15 minute segments:

  • The Trump and Biden records
  • The Supreme Court
  • Coronavirus
  • The Economy
  • Race and violence in U.S. cities
  • Integrity of the election

The commercial-free debate will be moderated by “Fox News Sunday” anchor Chris Wallace.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, both President Trump and Biden will not be shaking hands with each other, or Wallace.

The size of the audience will also be limited compared to previous presidential debates, with about 60 to 70 attending this one. Audience members will all undergo coronavirus testing and follow other health safety protocols.

Also, there will not be a media “spin room.” That’s where campaigns typically send supporters and representatives to make the case for their candidates, post-debate.

Once on stage, Trump, Biden, and Wallace will not wear masks. They will also forgo opening statements.

Starting at 9 p.m. eastern, viewers can watch the debate LIVE on WNYNewsNow’s 24/7 streaming network, our mobile app and Facebook page.
