LITTLE VALLEY – The tenth COVID-19 related death was reported in Cattaraugus County on Wednesday night.
The Cattaraugus County Health Department says a 97-year-old man who developed respiratory failure was unable to overcome his illness despite aggressive medical treatment.
This is the second COVID-19 related death reported this week in Cattaraugus County and the fifth death reported between both Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties.
Health officials also reported nine new cases of COVID-19 in Chautauqua County and seven new cases in Cattaraugus County on Wednesday.
