Two New COVID-19 Related Deaths Reported In Cattaraugus County

LITTLE VALLEY – Two additional deaths related to COVID-19 were reported in Cattaraugus County yesterday.

The County Health Department says an 82-year-old man and a 95-year-old woman, both living in the southeast part of the county, developed respiratory failure and were unable to overcome their illnesses.

This is the 20th and 21st related death reported since the outbreak began.











Officials also announced nine new cases of COVID-19, which brings the county’s total to 558 with 99 active. Of the new cases are seven woman and two men.

As of Tuesday, there are 227 residents in either mandatory or precautionary quarantine in Cattaraugus County.
