JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown man accused of driving while intoxicated is facing charges after allegedly hitting a parked car on Tuesday night.

Jamestown Police say 58-year-old Herman Hallowell Jr. hit a parked car in the area of Douglas Place and Linwood Avenue just after 7 p.m.


Police say Hallowell then left the scene.

Through investigation the man was identified as the alleged driver and is believed to have drove drunk.

Hallowell is charged with DWI, DWI per se, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and moving from lane unsafely.
