STEAMBURG – Two Cattaraugus County men are accused of driving drunk following a crash near Steamburg last week.

New York State Police say 47-year-old Dustin George, of Steamburg, abandoned his vehicle following a crash on Old Route 17 Friday.

Troopers say they observed George leave scene in another vehicle, with 52-year-old Scott Abrams, of Salamanca, behind the wheel.

After stopping the vehicle for further investigation, police report the duo both failed several standardized field sobriety tests and are accused of driving drunk.

At the state police barracks in Jamestown, troopers say Abrams provided a breath sample of .14 while George provided a breath sample of .21.

Troopers say the two were issued appearance tickets and released.

No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
