WASHINGTON – A former lobbyists is accusing Congressman Tom Reed of sexual misconduct.

According to The Washington Post, Nicolette Davis accuses Reed of unhooking her bra during a 2017 gathering at an Irish pub in Minneapolis.

Reed, who Davis alleges was intoxicated at the time, was reportedly pulled away from her by a person sitting nearby who then brought the Congressman outside of the restaurant.

In a text message to co-workers following the evening, Davis wrote “a drunk Congressman is rubbing my back,” and later adding, “HELP HELP.”

Davis worked for an insurance company and was on her first networking trip as a junior lobbyist.

Her account comes as Reed is considering a run against New York Governor Andrew Cuomo who is facing calls to resign after multiple women accused him of similar behavior.

WNY News Now has reached out to Reed’s Office for comment. The Post reports the Congressman declined to be interviewed for the story, however, provided a statement saying, “this account of my actions is not accurate.”
