WASHINGTON – As more people venture out for spring break, the Department of Transportation is reminding them to keep up with COVID safety measures.

Last week the agency released new images for its “mask up” campaign, which as you know is part of President Biden’s transportation-wide mask mandate.

In a statement, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said, “with this campaign, we’ll send a clear message to people who travel: when you wear a mask, you’re protecting the safety of our essential transportation workers, your fellow passengers, and yourself.”

A new DOT website has downloadable posters for businesses and public transit agencies to be placed in airports, transportation terminals, and bus stops.
