JAMESTOWN – A basket raffle and baked goods sale will take place this weekend in memory of a 35-year-old Jamestown woman who died unexpectedly in February.

Organizers say the Saturday event will benefit Maurita Shaver’s 11-year-old daughter.

In addition to a variety of baked goods, there will be baskets donated from local businesses and community members on auction.

The raffle will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Crestline Villa Recreation Center on Anderson Street in Jamestown.
