MAYVILLE – An inmate is accused of stealing Chautauqua County Jail property.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says 26-year-old Brandon Murphy was captured on security video committing the alleged offense last week.
Corrections officers questioned Murphy who was allegedly found in possession of the stolen items.
The man is charged with petit larceny in the case.
Deputies did not specifically say what the stolen property was.
