FREWSBURG – A can drive to raise money for a local youth softball team is taking place on Saturday.

The Frewsburg Southern Tier Babe Ruth Softball team is hosting the drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Money raised will benefit the sport’s local activities in the area.

Those interested in dropping of their cans are asked to visit the Frewsburg Carnival Grounds at 4 Main St. until 1 p.m.

Cans can also be dropped off after the event at the Southside Redemption Center on Foote Avenue in Jamestown. Donors are asked to mention the youth softball team when making a donation there.
