STOCKTON – An annual event that highlights antique tractors and plows will take place this weekend.

The Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Association is hosting its annual plow day on Saturday, May 8.

Starting at around 8 a.m. at the intersection of Route 380 and Pierson Road in the Town of Stockton, antique tractors and plows will demonstrate their techniques in the surrounding fields.

The event will continue throughout the morning and into the afternoon until the fields are cultivated.

At last year’s event, six antique tractors using plows with two to five bottoms (blades) took part in the demonstration.

The Antique Equipment Association is inviting the pubic to attend the event for another year of “soil-turning fun.”

Spectators may stay in their vehicles and pull off the side of the road. If spectators do exit their vehicles, association officials ask them to follow social distancing guidelines.

The association thanks Mis-Fit Farms for allowing use of their fields.
