OLEAN – The autistic Olean man who has been missing for two weeks was found safe and reunited with his family on Saturday night.

City of Olean Police posted to their Facebook page confirming that 22-year-old Cole Geise, who had been missing since May 2, was found.

Police say Geise was spotted around 10 p.m. by an alert citizen.

The weeks long search, police say, relied heavily on community tips with several leads coming into the department; but until now all fell short of finding Geise.

Geise, police previously told WNY News Now, either left home looking for a new place to live or was lost. It still remains unclear what lead to his initial disappearance.
