JAMESTOWN – A new boutique officially opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony in Downtown Jamestown on Wednesday afternoon.

Owned by sisters Lauren Edwards and Bobbi Spare, Art Cloth & Craft Boutique and Gallery started as a pop-up store in the Jamestown Public Market before migrating to its new brick and mortar location at 108 East Third Street next to the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts.

The store offers a variety of hand-crafted items, ranging from custom jewelry to hand-poured candles.

“We do a lot of other upcycling of goods and give them new purpose,” said Spare. “We also are looking for other artisans, local or just small companies that we represent here, everything from gifts, novelties, beauty, bath and then clothing.”

The shop will host a local artist reception Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The two sisters are inviting everyone from the community to come down and check out what they have to offer.
