FREDONIA – To combat the recent Hepatitis A outbreak at a local restaurant, Chautauqua County health officials are hosting two vaccination clinics this week.

If you were exposed to the virus at the Mustard Seed in Fredonia between May 8 and May 19 you are encouraged to attend a clinic.

Though, county officials say, exposure may have begun as early as April 1.

The Health Department emphasizes that the vaccine clinics will only prevent infection from those exposed May 8 or later.

The first clinic will be held Tuesday at the Cassadaga Valley Central School Bus Garage from  4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

The second clinic will be held inside Steele Hall on SUNY Fredonia’s campus from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday.

Though you do not need an appointment, pre-registration is required here.
