LOUDONVILLE – A new poll claims that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s favorability rating and re-election potential is edging up.

In the latest poll released by Siena College, voters now say Cuomo should not resign by a 49 to 41 percent margin, compared to a 51 to 37 percent majority who said he should not resign last month.

In a generic Democrat vs. Republican 2022 gubernatorial matchup, the poll found that a Democrat governor leads 55 to 29 percent. When asked Cuomo over a Republican, voters side with Cuomo 48.

Cuomo’s favorability rating is also up from last month. His job performance rating went down however.

Overall, 37 percent of people polled say they are prepared to re-elect Cuomo if he runs next year.

Who’d they poll … his office?

Will you report the % of what party affiliation those surveyed were?

I guarantee this was a bias survey, read the fine print, or at least publish it, 75%+ Democrat voters, 25% Republican/Independent Voters
